Join me, Syra Greider, for a guided creative experience in Manheim and the surrounding area. Learn to layer and blend oil pastels in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Beginners are welcome. Supplies are included, and your oil pastel set is yours to keep.
Make time for a little creativity
You don’t need an art background to enjoy an oil pastel workshop. I’ll guide you through the project, demonstrate each stage, and help you along the way. There’s room to ask questions and make your piece your own.

Seasonal workshop menu
Explore six beginner-friendly oil pastel projects on handmade deckled paper. Each offers step-by-step guidance and room to make the artwork your own. Text me to discuss a project for your group.
Autumn Pumpkin — A richly colored orange pumpkin on handmade paper. Learn rounded form with warm and cool autumn layers. Approximately 90–105 minutes.
Expressive Sunflower — A bold yellow sunflower with a textured dark center and green leaves. Explore broken color and energetic pastel strokes. Approximately 105–120 minutes.
Apples in Red — Three red apples in a traditional still life. Practice highlights, form shadows, and cast shadows. Approximately 90–105 minutes.
Golden Fields — A golden wheat field beneath a glowing evening sky. Explore atmospheric color and loose directional marks. Approximately 105–120 minutes.
Holiday Candlelight — A glowing yellow candle with evergreen sprigs and red berries. Create warm light against a dark background. Approximately 100–110 minutes.
Holiday Glow — A reflective red ornament beneath an evergreen branch with glowing yellow lights. Practice circular masking and reflected light. Approximately 90–105 minutes.

No—beginners are welcome, and I’ll demonstrate the techniques as we go.
What should I bring?
Your creativity! Art supplies are included. Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind making art in.
